Support Although the Model 540 is the most economical in the 500 Series, it incorporates all the standard features that make Reliance Hydraulic Surgical Stools world famous for comfort and efficiency. The 15 in. diameter seat is constructed of high-density, 2 in. polyfoam. A cushioned backrest may be added later.	Now You Have Backup The Model 546 enhances the versatile design of the Model 540 by adding an adjustable, tilting, upholstered backrest. Its horizontal and vertical adjustments and a tilt feature ensure that the Model 546 adapts to the individual requirements of every practitioner. Standard seat diameter is 15 inches.	Comfort from the "Waterfall" The Model 548 enhances the versatile design of the Model 540 by adding an adjustable, tilting, upholstered backrest. Patented Wrap-Around Arm The Model 556, our top-of-the-line surgical stool, features an upholstered threeway, wrap-around arm, for exceptional abdominal, back or arm support. Its deep, polyfoam seat offers support and comfort for lengthy procedures and long days in the O.R. Shown with optional floor lock.

Features

Exceptional stability

All Series 500 stools have five legs to distribute weight evenly and ensure stability. Furthermore, the circumference of the base exceeds that of the seat to maintain stability even in the elevated sit-stand position. Mobility is provided by rugged two-and-a-half inch casters molded from hard rubber.

Adjust height hands free

A convenient foot pedal easily raises or lowers the stool height without using hands. Total vertical travel is 7 1/2 in.

Swivel 360°1_800_755_5919

Seats on all 500 Series Stools swivel 360° independently of the base, so height isn't affected. Swivel of stool seat may be locked by lifting foot pedal.

Finished for durability

All exposed metal, with the exception of the aluminium base casting, is chrome-plated steel. Base casting and legs are finished in tough, black epoxy enamel.

Choice of three different heights

STANDARD seat height spans from 17 1/2 in. to 25 in. above the floor. MEDIUM seat height, for surgical use, spans from 20 1/2 in. to 28 in.. HIGH seat height, for surgical use, spans from 24 in. to 31 1/2 in.

Uphostery

All stools come with black as standard, but you can match your off ice or treatment room decor with our selection of 14 easy-to-maintain vinyl colors. Other vinyl colors and nylon tweed inserts are available at additional cost. All materials are fire retardant. Please contact LPO or Reliance to request a color selection card.
