The PERC is a sophisticated electronic system that can automatically control any programmed roomlighting function during the course of an exam. For example, when you turn on the slit lamp, both the stand lamp and the overhead room lights will automatically dim or turn completely off-whichever you choose. Turn the slit lamp off, and the room lights will return to your preset illumination level. This type of programmable control is available with every instrument switch on the Encore Stand, including two rechargeable instrument wells and BIO hanger.
Remote instruments such as a chart projector, fixation devices and muscle lights can also be controlled by the PERC. The end result is that the PERC System will improve the tempo and efficiency of your practice. And with an ETL Testing Laboratory stamp of approval on all Marco chairs and stands, you can rest assured that the Encore electrical system has been extensively tested.
Although we have redefined the electronic technology of the ophthalmic instrument stand, our main focus was to maintain the quality of materials and internal mechanisms that created the reputation of the Deluxe Stand. Marco instrument stands have always been noted for their rugged durability, and the Encore was built around that same philosophy.
