Eye Q Pro adds a further dimension to high resolution digital ophthalmology. Working with a new range of digital video cameras, it provides all the tools you need for dynamic imaging in applications such as Fluorescein angiography and Indo Cyanine Green procedures. It is ideal for use with the Canon CF-60UVi and CF-60UD Fundus Cameras.

Eye Q DICOM is an option available for both systems, offering the added capability of universal connectability.

Both Eye Q Pro and Eye Q Lite are available as review stations, in either desktop or laptop configurations. Eye Q Lite will also work as a capture station in a laptop configuration, for full portability.

All systems feature auto synchronization, allowing docking stations to automatically identify and synchronize with other Eye Q systems within a network.

Features
Digital Retinal Imaging Systems
The Canon Eye Q system provides fundus imaging that incorporates the widest range of applications within typical patient populations. Eye Q fundus imaging examines the entire retina including the nerve fiber layer and the optic disk, as opposed to retinal tomography which has more restricted applications. Anterior segment photography is also possible with Eye Q.

Image capture
High resolution comes standard with all Eye Q systems, although standard 3 chip video cameras are available for pure documentation applications. The Canon Professional Digital Camera EOS D2000 provides a staggering 1728 X 1152 pixels, and the Digital Video Camera for dynamic and fluorescent imaging provides 1360 X 1024 pixels at over 7 frames a second of digital data. This compares with around 300 pixels in the vertical dimension with the current gold standard Video CCD systems. Such high resolution makes pathology review possible. with a resolution approaching that of film.

Image review
The review software offers a full range of manipulation functions that are powerful yet simple to use. You can use the mouse to enhance image detail or by zooming in on high-resolution data, you can reveal actual information, not just pixels. The online tools and comprehensive explanations and help functions allow you to extract the best possible information from an image. You can even view sequential images as video clips, or use simple distortion correction and alignment tools to match up images. Plus, you can conveniently add and send verbal notes with your images.

Image and patient reporting
The Eye Q software also has extensive tools and dialogues that make it easy to track data, and eventually present it to patients in a clear and concise way. ICD 9 codes make it possible to record and report information including diagnoses; dedicated routines for cup/disk measurements and visual acuity. Plus, it enables a host of general analytical routines to assist in recording and reporting of critical data, as well as assist in the easy and safe exporting and importing of images from the database.

Communications for connecting and sharing information
At the very heart of the Eye Q systems is a concept that is fundamental to medical image management: images and data must be accessible when and where they are needed. Eye Q systems are network-ready, from delivery. The ability to connect safety and quickly to other Eye Q units, DICOM compliant devices, or a remote network, is standard with every system. Synchronization of patient and image files from local to remote systems is automatic and seamless, without the need for intervention by the user. In addition, you can easily e-mail data from the system to anyone, anywhere.

Superior imaging
The Canon Eye Q system provides higher image definition and greater clarity of clinically relevant information. With Eye Q there is no image/information loss, minimizing the chances of missing early pathology, especially subtle retinal changes.

Reimbursements
The versatility of the Canon Eye Q system provides over twenty reimbursable applications. For example the following diagnosis codes are applicable with procedure code 92250 fundus photos.
