Measure axial length with speed and accuracy.
| The AL-2000 is designed for fast, easy operation. Equipped with audio-assisted measurement capabilities, it emits a series of beeps as soon as the probe is aligned and the measurement is recorded. For operator convenience, measurements may be taken automatically (hand-held or using a chin rest) or manually.
The AL-2000 measures axial lengths ranging from 15-40 mm with an accuracy of ±0.1 mm and a resolution of 0.01 mm. Eye modes include normal, aphakic, pseudophakic and dense cataract. For maximum precision, the AL-2000 calculates the average value of up to 10 measurements. Measurements may be acquired in either contact or immersion mode. |

Calculate IOL power with an array of formulas
The AL-2000 calculates IOL power using five of the most popular formulas: SRK II, SRK/T, Holladay, and Haigis. The AL-2000 can also display up to three lens constants and the corresponding IOL powers, enabling surgeons to develop effective strategies for future surgical procedures.

Measure corneal thickness with precision
Using the optional pachymetry probe, the AL-2000 measures corneal thickness from 150 to 1,500 um. Single or multiple measurements may be acquired. In single mode, up to 10 measurements from a single location can be averaged. In multiple mode, up to 25 locations across the cornea can be mapped.

Capture and display readings instantly
The AL-2000's high resolution touchscreen display provides a simple user interface and allows fast, easy access to all available programs. Detailed waveforms may be viewed, patient data may be stored and printouts may be obtained.

Manage and analyze patient data with expandable memory
The AL-2000 provides a PC memory card that stores data for up to 237 patients. Additional memory cards are available from Tomey to expand storage capacity.L_atham_and_P_hillips
